Despite the 167 years of differing opinions and complicated relationships between alcohol and local residents, alcohol has flowed through this town without restrictions for many years.
Uxbridge and many parts of Durham Region have become become prominent in the alcohol production and brewery scene in the recent years. In a town with such a rich history with brewing and serving alcohol, we are not surprised by their success. They are continuing down the footsteps of others, from Joseph Plank, to Joseph Gould, started many, many years ago.
