Programming & Education at UHC

We offer many programs for your school or youth group, utilizing the various Ontario curriculum goals. UHC programs allows children to explore their inner artists, experiment as scientists, and delve into the past through hands-on learning.
$6.00 per participant for half-day program, $10.00 per participant for full day. Programs run for approx. 2 hours. Lunch/ snack space on our grounds, and use of our games for free time, is included in price. Must provide own food and water.
The UHC is an outdoor facility. While we will try to accommodate programs due to weather conditions, please ensure students are prepared for outdoor activities and are wearing outdoor shoes/boots.
Girl Guides - Badge-Specific Programs
We offer programs for Sparks, Brownies, Guides, and Pathfinders designed to help to fulfill badge requirements. Rangers are invited to contact the museum for use of the site for their programs and events. UHC Guiding programs are developed to fit with the Girls First Program and explore ideas including wayfinding & map-making, heritage crafts, gardening, museum careers, and more.
