September is local food month and in celebration the Uxbridge Historical Centre is teaming up with local Durham region chef, Chef Alex, for A Taste of Heritage! Join us on September 29th for a tour of heritage buildings to see how folks used local herbs in cooking and medicine, learn more about harvesting herbs in UHC's herb garden, and learn to make a surprise modernized heritage recipe from 1877 with Chef Alex and enjoy a delicious tasting!
