Education - there is lots to be done creating & delivering educational programs to children
Gardening - herb garden, flower gardens, general yard work waiting for TLC
Hospitality - offer to bake your specialty, or to co-ordinate hospitality for upcoming events
Maintenance - a multitude of small individual jobs are always needing to be done
Special Events - help with the Fall Festival, Heritage Days, adult workshops or other upcoming events.
New this year:
The UHC is launching our Youth Program for those aged 13-18 called 'Museum Youth Leaders'!
This program is free to attend, and will build community spirit in our youth by allowing them to advise, assist with, and lead upcoming UHC events and programs.
The first meeting is Thursday, September 12th at 3pm, and our first task will be dedicated to our Fright! At The Museum event. The MYLs will meet every Thursday from September through to November, and will continue in the spring starting Thursday, April 16th.
