WHO WE ARE
The Uxbridge Historical Centre (UHC) is governed by the elected Municipal Council of the Township of Uxbridge. A volunteer advisory body known as the Museum Advisory Committee (MAC) is appointed by Council to advise, comment on, recommend, and assist Council with specific reference to the operation and management of the Uxbridge Historical Centre and the delivery of museum services to the community in compliance with relevant municipal, provincial, and federal legislation.
A volunteer-run Board of the Uxbridge-Scott Historical Society (USHS) works in partnership with the Township, the owss of the buildings and collections, to raise funds that support museum operations, exhibitions, and special projects. Volunteers from the Society assist with school programs, outreach, garden interpretation, workshops, and other activities.

The museum site is staffed from April to mid-December, Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm. Email inquiries are responded to year-round.
