Uxbridge Historical Centre

Family Fall Festival

The Historical Centre presents the annual Family Fall Festival every September or October.

Upon arriving to the grounds, every child is issued her or her own passport.

There will be several activity-stations scattered throughout the Museum grounds.

An interesting and fun activity will take place at every station and your child’s passport be stamped at each. A full passport at the end of the day will be rewarded with a special prize.

Dress for the outdoors on Quaker Hill for this family oriented fall activity!

Some of the activities include:

  • Horse Drawn Wagon Rides
  • Pumpkin Painting (take the finished pumpkin home)
  • Stilt Walking
  • Pioneer Craft Activity (take the finished craft home)
  • Face Painting
  • Rope-making (take home a skipping rope or belt)
  • Run the Printing Press (print your own sheet)
  • The Farm Chores Challenge

Light refreshments and musical entertainment add to the 'flavour' of the afternoon.

This is an afternoon of healthy outdoor fun celebrating the traditions and activities of the fall season.

$3.00 per child to a maximum of $7.00 per family includes everything except your refreshments.
