Remember, our Big Family Games are available any Saturday or Sunday between 9 am and 3 pm. Enjoy Giant Checkers, Giant Chess, or Giant Snakes and Ladders. Badminton and Croquet are also available for great family fun! Cost: $5.00/game rental (1 hour limit – deposit required).

Kite Making

The museum grounds are perfect for flying a kite. Come spend the morning with us creating a large kite of your own and spend the afternoon flying it. We supply all the materials. It is great for the whole family!

Family Treasures, Part 1

What is a Family Tree? What do you need to create your own? Hear interesting tales and come out with tools to start your own family tree.

Family Treasures, Part 2

Come back with your family tree information and start creating! We supply the scrapbook and you supply the creativity!

Aboriginal Games & Traditional Beading

Learn different styles of beading and create your own work of art, or make one for a friend. Lots of time for games and creativity.v

'Big' Games Day

Checkers or chess, badminton, croquet, and card games will fill the museum grounds. Your games pass will also allow you to visit the Uxbridge Lawn Bowling Club and enjoy a pop, donut and a couple of bowls.

Anne of Green Gables

Come and join us to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the publication of Anne of Green Gables. Celebrate Lucy Maud Montgomery’s imagination and inspiration by creating a unique mosaic Father's Day card or a special craft.

When Survivors Become Pirates

Join us for a Survivor experience on the museum island. Scavenger hunts, treasure maps, team missions. A not-to-miss adventure!
